Does my Sensi thermostat have the geofencing feature?

Yes. The geofencing feature is delivered through the Sensi app. If you have a registered Sensi account and have downloaded the Sensi app to your mobile device, you can enable geofencing. To turn on geofencing, in your Sensi app, select your thermostat from the home dashboard. Then select the scheduling tab at the bottom of the screen and choose geofencing.

The geofencing feature is unique to individual thermostats. If you have more than one thermostat, you will need to enable this feature on each unit.

Note on geofencing availability

  • For iOS users, you need iOS version 10 or above
  • For Android users, you will need version 5.0 (Lollipop) or above
